Fishbourne Roman Palace
Heritage, Fishbourne
Fishbourne Roman Palace is the largest Roman residential building discovered in Britain and one of the most significant Roman sites in northern Europe. The museum covers the north wing of the palace, protecting the remarkable mosaic floors including the celebrated Cupid on a Dolphin design. The replanted Roman garden gives an impression of the palace's original formal setting. The museum includes finds from the excavations, interpretation panels, and a gift shop. Open year-round, with seasonal hours.
