Restaurants near Fishbourne

Dining options in and around the village

Fishbourne is a small village and does not have a large restaurant scene of its own, but its location between Chichester and the harbour means that good dining is never far away. The Bull's Head on Fishbourne Road is the village's main pub and serves food alongside its drinks, providing a convenient option for a meal without leaving the village.

Chichester, barely two miles to the east, offers a wide range of restaurants. The city centre has established dining spots along East Street, North Street, and the Pallants, covering everything from Italian and Indian to modern British and French. The proximity means that Fishbourne residents treat Chichester's restaurants as effectively local.

Dell Quay, the small harbour settlement south of the village, has the Crown and Anchor pub which sits right on the waterside. Eating there at high tide, with the harbour full and the light reflecting off the water, is one of the area's quiet pleasures. The pub serves standard pub food with some seafood offerings that take advantage of the harbour location.

Bosham, along the harbour to the west, has its own dining options including the Anchor Bleu on the quayside. The harbour villages collectively provide more choice than any one of them could sustain individually, and the short driving distances make it practical to range across the area for an evening meal. For a wider range of cuisine, Chichester is the natural destination and offers enough variety to satisfy most appetites.
