Appledram Lane runs south from the A259 near the Fishbourne-Chichester boundary, passing through the rural parish of Apuldram towards the harbour shore. The lane is quiet and straight, crossing flat farmland with long views. The Apuldram Centre, with its plant nursery, is on this lane. Further south, the lane connects to the path network around Dell Quay and the harbour shore. Appledram Lane is popular with cyclists and walkers and provides an alternative route to the harbour that avoids Dell Quay Road.
